Hi all,
Almost that time again to start getting our teams ready for Masters in Stellenbosch for 2020.
Please see attached for the team entry doc. I have sent it via excel which will automatically calculate the average age of the youngest 7 players and also calculate how much is owed when each persons first name is submitted on the document. Please double check this though. NB that coaches and managers also pay the team entry fee.
Please return the team entry back to me in excel.
Some important points for now:
Dates: 18-21st March 2020
- Wed – registration and welcome
- Thurs to Sat – Games, playoffs, finals, beers
5 Age groups:
- Open – any ages, any level and no handicaps
Handicaps will apply to all other age groups. 1 goal for every 2 year difference in teams average age of youngest 7 players.
- 30 – 40 years
- 40 – 50 years
- 50 – 55 years
- 55+
Deadline for team entry:
End January 2020 for team entries please. Late team entries puts a lot of pressure on programmes, planning and getting the fixtures out as soon as we can. If you have finalised your teams then earlier the better please. Team entry fee per person will remain at R750.
Accommodation:
I don’t have too much value to add here as teams book their own accommodation but please see link that might help for larger groups.

Planning for 2020:
We have started planning for 2020 and taken all the feedback on board to bring you all a much improved tournament in 2020. We have had some interest from overseas teams from Brazil, USA, UK and Europe. We hope to make everything bigger and better in 2020.
