For those who know Alan,s family and friends , please pass on the condolences and commiserations of the South African and Gauteng Masters Water Polo fraternity

NOTICE OF AGM
SOUTH AFRICAN MASTERS WATER POLO

Notice is hereby given for the holding of the Annual General Meeting for South African Masters Water Polo.

Date    :           Wednesday, 21 March 2018
Time   :           18h00
Venue :           Joan Harrison pool, East London

Each province is entitled to send two representatives to the AGM.

Note:

2019-2020 Bids

  • There has been talk of bids from Stellenbosch and Crusaders.
  • Please could these organising committee’s submit their proposals to me for circulation by 14 March 2018.

Chairman

  • Last year Neville Clarence indicated that he would be stepping down at the 2018 AGM. His circumstances have changed and he is thus available for re-election.
  • If there are any candidates who are wishing to be elected to the Executive of SA Masters Waterpolo, [Chairman, Secretary, Finance] please submit their nominations to myself by 14 March 2018 for circulation.

Late John Green

It is indeed sad to notify you that John Green, a Jock and Masters player over many years, passed away yesterday. John played more than 10 Masters Tournaments and represented the WP Jocks for many years. John will be sorely missed by the team and waterpolo playing fraternity.

Please keep John’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

Sad news indeed.

2017 East London entry form

The East London organisers have been getting calls asking about entry forms.
Please pass on to all the club captains in your various provinces that the entry forms are available for download on the SA Masters website.
In addition, could the teams that will still be entering kindly provide Andrew Reeves (andrew@reevesgroup.co.za) with an indication of the numbers of shirt sizes they would require. This will greatly assist them in placing the order for the shirts as no-one would like to receive a Small shirt if they are a Double/Triple XL.
Kindly remind all the Masters players who are going to East London to please review their attendance records on the website as the onus rests on them to advise myself of their correct attendance.
Looking forward to a great tournament in East London.
