Good Day Gents

This is the first correspondence from the organising committee to remind you all to diarise the dates for next year’s SA Masters Water Polo in East London. Subject to minor changes below are the proposed order of events:

Date : 22-25 March 2017
Venue : Joan Harrison Swimming Pool Complex
AGM : 19H00 on Wednesday 22^nd March
23^rd : 7am – 7pm Games ( Food & Entertainment)
24^th: 7am – 7pm Games ( Food & Entertainment)
25^th : 7am – 5pm Games & Finals through all Age Categories
6pm Prize Giving , Food & Evening Entertainment
26^th : Travel Home

Accommodation : Various B&B’s in the Selborne and surrounding  area ( Chandlers ,Lord Selborne, Meander Inn, Quarry Lake Inn), are a few to mention,  Kat Leisure Group (Beach Front ) 043-743 3433 (Contact Amanda)

We will be creating a “What’s App ” Group  for ease  of communication and would like (one name and corresponding cell number) per team to be on it. This will only be an information Group , so no other postings will be permitted. (Bev Manson will be the administrator of this group).

‘Team’ enter forms will follow shortly , together with contact details of the relevant portfolio holders.

Look forward to the next Masters Tournament and  we plan make it as memorable as those in the past.

Andrew Reeves will book the Joan Harrison pool facilities for the 22/23/24 March 2017. I hope this does not clash with Nipper or Life- Saving champs? If it does it will only affect a few players anyway.

Please take note of the following schedule:

09^th March 2016 (Wednesday):

• 14h00: All players that have booked into hotels may check in
• 14h30 – 18h30: Registration takes place at KingsPark Outside Pool in Marquee, if registration has not been completed team will not be able to participate. Collection of goodie bags and meal tickets will take place here as well.
• 17h00 – 19h00: KZN u18 Trial Games for Currie Cup.
• 18h00 – 19h00: AGM for Board Members to be held in Boardroom in Kingspark facilities.
• 19h15 – 20h00: Official Opening, house rules, tournament rules etc will be presented please make sure your players are present.
  • 10/20 year Cozzy Awards
  • Deceased members remembrance
• 17h00 – 23h00: Bar and Food is open for purchase.

10^th March 2016 (Thursday):

• 07h30: First games commence
• 19h00: Last game is played
• 19h00 – 23h00:
  • Dinner is served
  • Live entertainment
  • Bar open

11^th March 2016 (Friday):

• 07h30: First Games commence
• 18h30: last game is played
• 20h00: WATERSHED LIVE

Morning All

Hope all have a good break and back in the pool…..

Just a further reminder that we need to get all entry forms in asap, and all monies in by the 31^st January. As you can understand

There is a lot of organising and that requires cash flow, also we need to get the draws done asap so we can let teams know as this

Will help your travel arrangements.

For those that are taking up the accommodation option, full payments must be in by the 31^st to secure your bookings.

If we could all get on this asap I would appreciate it.
